Thursday the long awaited Raspberry Iguana website launched. Along with it came eBay.
I have been staring at the design of the website for sometime now and have been developing and making little changes for months so to be honest, to me, it felt like it had been launched long ago. I felt like I had built it up so much too, by giving all these expected dates for the launch when in fact I didn't realise that more official things had to be done first and unfortunately these things weren't instant. First I had to set up the bank account, then wait for it to activate, then wait for the account details so I could confirm pay pal and so the days to launch seemed to slip further and further into the distance.
So when Thursday finally came I was determined that by nightfall Raspberry Iguana would have a published website. However it was important to me to launch both eBay and the website simultaneously. I was an eBay virgin, I have never really shopped online other than for music and films. I enlisted the help of my boyfriend. So at around 10pm a whole hour and a half after we had started, we were done, Raspberry Iguana had arrived on eBay. Naturally this prompted me to tell everyone and this is where this blog post comes light....
Raspberry Iguana would like to say thank-you to everyone who has supported it in it's beginning stage. I was so overwhelmed by the amount of likes the Facebook page got, I was so impressed and happy that I completely lost track of time and before I knew it it was mid-night and I realised I had work the next day with a 6am start. I just hope Raspberry Iguana can live up to it's expectations and continue to be liked.
Raspberry Iguana is also pleased to say that not one but two bags have sold already though eBay! This has been another boost.
Raspberry Iguana has really come to life now although it's going to be hard work I find it all really exciting.
With all these positive things happening I have become all inspired and have many new designs in the making so keep watching and as soon as they are done I will post some.
